Winter hiking allows you to discover the Zillertal countryside in peaceful calm.
Deep snow-covered landscapes and perfectly groomed winter hiking trails invite you to take a walk and relax. No previous experience is necessary for winter hiking in Fügen and Hochfügen, and snowshoes are available at rental stations at any time. Discover fresh animal tracks in the snow. With a little luck, you might spot a snow hare or a deer.
Here you can experience nature and all its treasures in the winter wonderland of the Zillertal. On request, the tourism association of the First Holiday Region Zillertal organises daily guided winter hikes led by certified mountain and nature guides, lasting approximately 2-3 hours.

First, follow a path about 2 km downhill along the Finsingbach stream before climbing a small hill to the Schellenberg. This quiet, nature-oriented hiking trail takes you through idyllic winter landscapes and is ideal for leisurely walks.
