Experience the fascinating tranquillity of the winter landscapes of the Zillertal and the lovely area surrounding the village of Fügen on foot. Follow the marked winter hiking trails, which lead you through the picturesque snow covered landscape. You don’t have to have any winter hiking experience because the marked trails and prepared paths are very easy to follow in Fügen and Hochfügen. The unspoilt nature is evident when you find fresh tracks from the wildlife in the snow. With a bit of luck, you might even encounter a snow hare or a deer.

Feel close to nature and enjoy the beautiful setting of the stunningly beautiful Zillertal valley covered in fresh snow. A true winter wonderland.

The tourism office of the First Holiday Region Zillertal even offers guided winter hikes available on a daily basis, yet only upon request. Enjoy a wonderful hike with a certified guide for about 2 to 3 hours to the most amazing locations in our region.
